None of my posts from today have showed up on my blog’s main page, though the permalinks I send to Twitter/Facebook are working. My last post isn’t showing up on my Tumblr after 10 minutes. This is a test.
I was having some seperate issues yesterday with Tumblr posts and had an open ticket when I noticed it was doing the same thing to me. I emailed support, they told me that they’re “seeing some server delays today. New posts, post edits/deletes, and theme/page changes may be delayed by a few hours.”

Twin Cities Tumblr Meetup at Matt’s Bar in Minneapolis! Smaller than expected likely because of the Vikings game, but still a great success. Awesome to meet/see you guys and gals.
I’m a little late with this, since I got sick yesterday and spent the day watching old Woody Allen movies. Honestly, I don’t think it was the Jucy Lucy that made me sick, it probably had everything to do with the way the Vikings played in overtime.
And now I have a little Tumblr sticker on my iPhone, how dorky is that?
tumblr needs a list feature so I can split my dashboard into different groups. Like all the MN tumblrs in one group, all the developers in another… just saying.
I officially have a problem, and there’s too much good stuff on Tumblr lately, my Google reader feels slighted.
Should be there, perhaps a bit late though, have an art opening to hit up prior.

Sunday - Vinyl Sunday (by far the coolest Tumblr Day of the Week)
Jon Hick’s tumblr where he posts a daily monster that he draws on a post-it note and puts on his son’s lunch box. Cool stuff.
As of tonight, including myself, I’m the hundred and first person using Bill Israel’s Simplification theme. That’s a number I can deal with, and I’ve given it a similiar color scheme as my older, less updated blog.
The number of people I follow has grown quite a bit over the last month or so, too much good stuff out there. This made the Blog Roll section of this theme look a bit out of control, so I liberated a little of Matthew Buchanan’s jQuery script to give the blog roll a little animation action, and to obscure the fact I follow so many other fine tumblrs.
Like most people that have been on tumblr for a while, I started with a Bill Israel theme, I think it’s good to come back home again, hopefully my design fickleness has been satiated for a bit, and this one will last, at least through the summer.
Oh another nice thing about this theme, it credits reblogs, so the “(via” tags can be cut down on a bit.
One more beer, then sleep, must keep the tags accurate don’t cha know…
According to the Theme Garden, 550 people are using Jarred’s beautifully designed theme. Which is a testament to Jarred’s skills, but I think I might have to change again soon. I hate checking out random Tumblr’s and seeing the same theme that I’m using.
Does anyone else think it might be nice to group Tumblr logs you follow? And also be able to set a default group for your dashboard. For example, you could group all the photo related Tumblrs you follow, or in my case, I’d set the default group to all the Minnesota Tumblrs I follow. That way you could filter out some of the “noise” on the Dashboard that you don’t always want to wade through, but still be able to “look at all the neat stuff” when you so choose. Also, it’d be nice for these user created groups to have RSS feeds that you could subscribe to in other reader. Just a thought.
