This is the route I took to school on my bike today.
The red X marks the spot where cyclist Virginia Heuer-Bowar was struck and killed by a motorist in 2008. It’s also where, three months later, newspaper columnist Joe Soucheray and a friend promised to run over any cyclists who got in their way.
I hope I don’t get murdered by any newspaper columnists while riding my bike.
Don’t worry, soon newspaper columnists won’t be able to afford cars.
